“Vast horizons are opening to the Gospel”

Speaking at the Angelus at the Papal Summer Residence at Castelgandolfo and commenting on Sunday’s readings which refer to spreading the faith, the Pope said, “Vast horizons are opening to the Gospel, while traditionally Christian regions are called to rediscover once again the beauty of the faith”.The protagonists of this mission are men and women who, like St. Paul, can say: “Life to me is Christ.”The went on to say, “People, families and communities accept to work in the vineyard of the Lord, referring to the image of the Gospel of this Sunday (cf. Mt 20:1-16). Workers humble and generous, do not ask for any reward other than to participate in the mission of Jesus and his Church.
