BANGALORE’S ARCHBISHOP TALKS ABOUT ATTACKS AND THE FUTURE OF CHRISTIANITY IN INDIA

The country of India has a population of roughly 1.2 billion people. It’s a country with several languages, ethnicities and of course religions. About 81 percent are Hindu, 13 percent are Muslims and only 2.3 percent are Christian.

Msgr. Bernard Blasius Moras is the Archbishop of Bangalore. He says unfortunately, the persecution of Catholics is a reality. Attacks and even threats are sometimes made by small group of fundamentalist who see Christianity as something foreign.
